The End of a Landmark

A Centennial Opening Night

The Centennial Week program scheduled the 8 p.m. coronation of Miss Centennial at the Victoria Theatre on June 27, 1964. That planned ceremony gives the theatre a documented role in the city’s centennial week decades after its 1918 opening.
