An Alumni Association Organized in 1884

Scholarships Across Generations

The association’s commemorative history dates a Scholarship Fund to 1922 and development of a Scholarship Trust Fund to 1947. Garfield and Washington on Sunbury Street

The same city portrait distinguishes the High School from Grant School on Shamokin Street. Because Shamokin's high school occupied more than one building over time, the 1908 occurrence is not merged with earlier locations.

The Borough’s 1939 School Roster

The Jubilee school section names Academy, Garfield, Grant, Lincoln, Stevens, Washington, and the high school as parts of the borough district. It is a 1939 institutional snapshot, not a claim that every building or address remained unchanged.
