The Sinnett Company’s Two-Day Shamokin Engagement

The Sinnett Company played at Shamokin’s G.A.R. Opera House on February 22 and 23, 1905. The engagement appears among the recent performances recorded in The Billboard’s March 11 locality report.

The correspondent described a good house. The entry does not name the company’s production, performers or a numerical attendance, so the surviving account is of the engagement rather than a reconstructed cast.

J. F. Osier was listed as the opera house’s manager. This two-day visit preceded other separately named productions in the same report; they were not one continuous show.
