Liberty Hose on Sunbury Street
A 1908 photograph places Liberty Hose Company on Sunbury Street. Address review shows that the company had moved from the Liberty and Lincoln area to 211 East Sunbury Street before the picture was published.
Independence Hose on Market Street
The album also names Independence Hose Company on Market Street. Earlier records place an Independence Fire Association near Lincoln and Grant, supporting a move while leaving the exact institutional name transition qualified.
An Earlier Independence Fire House
A Jubilee photograph shows the old Independence Fire Association house with a horse-drawn steamer and describes the building as a later City Hall wing. The image broadens the fire-company story without creating a duplicate map location.
