Monroe H. Kulp, Lumber

Monroe H. Kulp advertised lumber, shingles, lath, prop timber, railroad ties and construction work.

Monroe H. Kulp advertised as a manufacturer and dealer in oak, white pine and hemlock lumber at 609 East Sunbury Street. The 1895–97 notice gave the word “LUMBER” most of the space, then listed shingles, lath, prop timber and railroad ties.

General construction work completed the offer. The advertisement thus paired named kinds of wood with finished or prepared materials for several uses, bringing lumber sales and construction services together under Kulp's printed name.
